Announcing our 2025 Paul Revere Awards for Graphic Excellence winners!

This year there were 140 submissions from 28 publishers, including three new members. Judging took place on Monday, July 7 2025 at the offices of Concord.

Chaired by Lawrence Tarlow (Principal Librarian, New York Philharmonic), this year’s engraving Judges were Michel Léonard (Librarian, Orchestre symphonique de Montréal), Jane Cross (Music Archivist, Library of Congress) and Robert Sutherland (Principal Librarian, Metropolitan Opera, retired).

In an effort to best evaluate submissions intended for young learners two additional judges, Alaina Ferris and Kathryn Knight, were brought in to assess Classroom & Educational as well as Video & Interactive categories. This year’s graphics judges were Nim Ben-Rueven, a freelance, book and packaging designer based in Brooklyn and Emmanuel Wisdom, a lettering artist and graphic designer based in Philadelphia.
